Advertisement for recruitment of Inspector (Hindi Translator) and Inspector (Editor) in ITBP.

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the posts Inspector (Hindi Translator) (UR-12, SC-04, SC-03, OBC-11, Total-30) and Inspector (Editor) (UR-01, Total-01) for the year 2010 on temporary basis likely to be permanent for the post of Inspector (Hindi Translator) and Inspector (Editor) Group ‘B’ in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. The posts have all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules. Last date for receipt of applications is 16th July, 2010 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 23rd July, 2010

Age : (a) Inspector (Hindi Translator) – 30 Years

(b) Inspector (Editor) – 20 to 25 years

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4,600/- per month.

Educational Qualification :
(a) Inspector (Hindi Translator)
Masters Degree of recognised University in Hindi or English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at Degree level.
OR
Master Degree of recognised University in any subject other than Hindi and English with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as compulsory elective subject at Degree level.
OR
Masters Degree of recognised University in any subject other than Hindi and English with Hindi or English as medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject as medium of examination at Degree level.
OR
Bachelors Degree of recognised University with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject, plus a recognised Diploma or Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Department including Government of India Undertakings and working knowledge of computer application or equivalent.
(b) Inspector (Editor)
Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Diploma in Printing from a recognized Institution.

Application Fee : Application Fee will be Rs. 50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC category only and no fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates. The candidates should attach the Indian Postal Order or Crossed Bank Draft drawn in the name of INSPECTOR GENERAL (SPECIAL) FRONTIER, ITBP, “PAYABLE AT SBI, R.K. PURAM, NEW DELHI, CODE NO 1076.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘I’ and Annexure ‘II’, either type written or neatly hand written on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application/admit card (duly attested by a Gazetted Officer) along with application fee, enclosures as in para-8 to the INSPECTOR GENERAL (SPECIAL) FRONTIER, ITBP, WEST BLOCK, WING-2, SECTOR-1, R.K.PURAM, NEW DELHI – 110066, on or before the prescribed last date i.e. 16th July, 2010 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 23rd July, 2010.
